How to use keystone correction?

Solar Portable supports auto (vertical ±40°) and manual (horizontal ±40°) keystone correction. To adjust manually, go to Settings>Projector Settings and turn off auto keystone correction.

How do I manually focus?

Press the focus button on the remote, then use the “left” and “right” buttons to manually adjust. You can also try moving Solar Portable.

How do I zoom in and out?

Go to Settings>Projector Settings>Zoom.

How do I adjust the brightness?

Go to Settings>Projector Settings>Power Mode>Standard Mode to make the display brighter. Please note Solar Nebula automatically switches to a lower brightness mode when not charged to conserve battery power.

How do I change the HDR function?

Go to Settings>Projector Settings>HDR. Please note HDR is automatically on.

How do I adjust the color display?

Go to Settings>Projector Settings>Color Temperature and choose between Normal, Cool, and Warm.

How do I adjust contrast, saturation, and sharpness?

Long-press the "setting" button on the remote when playing a video, then go to Settings>Picture Settings>Picture Mode>Custom. Within the custom settings, you can adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, and sharpness.

Where should I put Solar Portable for best projection?

For the best result, place Solar Portable between 63 and 104 inches from the projection surface. Solar Portable supports a minimum distance of 30” (0.8m) and a maximum distance of 120” (3.18m).

How do I cast content from my phone or computer?

Method 1: Chromecast 1. Ensure your phone or computer and Solar Portable are connected to the same WiFI network. 2. When an app plays a video, click the Chromecast button (located on top of the display) to search for a Chromecast-compatible device. 3. Select Solar Portable. 4. Please note Chromecast can only open apps that support Chromecast, such as YouTube and Prime Video. Method 2: Screen Mirroring For iPhone users: 1. Please download Nebula Manager from the App Store. 2. Download Airpin Pro from Nebula Manager and open Airpin. 3. Check if Solar Portable and your phone are on the same WiFi network, then choose Screen Mirroring. For Android phones: 1. Go to Settings>Connected Devices>Connection Preferences>Cast On Your Phone. 2. Select Nebula to start screen mirroring. 3. Please note this method could vary depending on your specific Android model.

How do I play videos without WiFi?

1. Download videos to your USB drive.2. Download File Explorer from the Google Play Store and install the app on Solar Portable. 3. Install a media player app. 4. Plug the USB drive into Solar Portable to play your media.



The unit is great. Love how quick and simple it is to use. The only downside is the lack of an audio jack. The reason is because when we set it up outside, we like to use headphones so that we don't disturb our neighbors. (There's 2 of us most of the time so we split the jack.) The work around (though I haven't tried) is the use a USC to headphone dongle. And if you are using the USC port to charge already, then you would need to use USB-A to USB-C dongle then attach a USB-C to Headphone. If you want to load movies via the USB-A port, then you can't be charging at the same time. So this is a bit of a pain. If it weren't for that, I would give it 5 stars.

Save your money

First off, this projector has great picture quality and operating system. However, save your money and DO NOT purchase the battery powered version. Get the regular Solar and not the Solar Portable. My battery can no longer hold a charge after a year of light use. When I contacted customer service, all they could do was offer me a discount on a new product because I was just outside of the warranty period. They do not even have an option for me to pay to have it repaired. I still use my projector, just sad that I can no longer use it “anywhere” unless I have a power supply. If I could do it over again and was searching for a battery operated projector, I probably would have gone with the competition.

Excellent for Outdoor Viewing after Sunset

This projector is great for watching movies, tv shows, or even sports once the sun has set. As you would expect with a portable projector, the light isn't quite strong enough for any time before sunset, but once that sun goes down it is really a great viewing experience. The auto-keystone correction feature works really well. The battery probably lasts closer to 2 or 2.5 hours, but I was able to run an extension cord out if I'm watching sports.

Great product, but the battery starts to go just after the warranty is up.

I love it. It’s a great product bright, loud and does what I need. Only problem is the battery started to go 1 month after the warranty ends. Went from consistent three hours to less than 2 I’m about 1 month or 2.

Solid product

Picture Quality was great rhe sound could be louder and brightness could have been better for bright light settings. Great features and ease of use. Unfortunately I had to return mine due to a couple of dead pixels. Let's hope the replacement model has no pixel issues
