When I try and open sling tv it say “must update” update what? The app or the projector? How can I watch sling tv on the max?
I don’t think I will ever go back to a TV. This thing is amazing and takes movie nights from 1 to 1000. Great purchase, I love it so much!!!
This is an incredible piece of equipment. Both the speaker and projector are great. The auto-focus and auto-keystone adjustments are amazing. Connectivity works well and the built-in apps are responsive and fun to use.
I traveled to an indoor event recently in which I needed to project in a lit room, and the brightness was not quite adequate for those conditions. I ended up using my old Dell 2400MP because it was so much brighter in that setting. The Max capsule is noticeably brighter than the Mini, but still not nearly as bright as a less compact but much brighter older model desktop projector.
The 100 vs. 200 ANSI rating is hard to quantify. Again, the Max (at 200 ANSI lumens) is noticeably brighter than the Mini (rated at 100 ANSI lumens) but does not appear anywhere close to twice as bright. The Dell 2400MP is 3,000 ANSI Lumens and far better in a well-lit room, but is about 10 pounds with the case, versus 1.6 pounds for the Nebula Max and just over 1 pound for the Mini.
For me, the portability makes these Nebula capsule projectors well worth the price. And the autofocus, auto-keystone, and brighter image of the Max make that upgrade a worthwhile increase in price and product value.
So overall, a fantastic device that is almost bright enough for most settings, and which, when projected onto a slightly dimmed screen or at night, is simply unbeatable.
Someone gave this to me, and I have been using it to watch movies, tv, and play video games on my wall. It has really good picture quality, and its very convenient to use with my phone or even the remote.
Used this compact projector to turn my whole bedroom wall into a screen to watch youtube on before bed. Super satisfied with sharpness, brightness and sound.
