What's In The Box
Nebula Apollo, power adapter, remote control with batteries, quick start guide, and safety instructions.
I’ve had this projector for a few weeks now, and use it almost daily. I’m a coach and watch a lot of game film on my projector.
For the price of this one, I really expected it to be better. Video quality does not seem any brighter than the first nebula capsule, despite being listed at 200 lumens (compares to the capsule’s 100), and costing more.
The remote is good. The touch pad on top is really cool but has limits (see below).
My biggest issue, beyond picture quality / brightness, is the focus wheel. It seems to be VERY sensitive and gets out of focus very often. Every time I touch the projector it comes out of focus….. making the touch pad on the top kind of useless.
Last thing- not a huge deal but something that I think is a negative compared to the Capsule; this one uses its own charger / power cable; whereas the capsule used usb. USB was way more convenient as I always had a USB cable and block with me wherever I went. Now I need to bring a clunky plug with me anytime I want to use the Apollo.
Overall for the money, I don’t think this is any better than some much more affordable options.
Even within the anker family better value exists at lower pieces with mostly the same features.
I bought this projector for my daughter's birthday. It's really cool (I'm kinda jealous of it and have my eye on the next version up). It has good picture quality, decent sound, good battery life and access to all the video streaming apps we use. It takes a little bit of time to do the initial setup, but it wasn't hard. My daughter figured it out just fine.
We did have an issue with the battery where it would no longer charge but the unit would work just fine plugged in. I emailed customer support, provided my purchase information, mailed the unit in and received a replacement unit less than a week later. They followed up to make sure I was satisfied with the replacement unit and resolution of the problem. It was all super easy and very much appreciated.
I used it for several training sessions and it worked flawlessly. The built in speaker is very good. However, for the training I did and the video I showed, I did use a larger bluetooth speaker for a better bass sound system. The projector is about the size of a can of soda. It's awesome. I did purchase a soft carrying case for about $15, just to keep it protected, although the box it came in could work very well. I am very impressed and pleased with the quality and the price. I gave it five stars.
Great quality, only drawback is the overly “touchy”touch screen navigation, can make it frustrating. Otherwise, amazing projector so far.
